Rother Valley Country Park is the perfect venue for a corporate event. With numerous activities on offer and state of the art theatre style classrooms, it’s the perfect mix of fun and learning.
Our experienced team can take you and your delegates on an adventure across land and water for an unforgettable day, and when it’s time for a bit of learning or conferencing, our 18th-century mill or theatre-style lakeside room provides the perfect setting.
Flexibility is our focus, allowing you a choice of half-day or full-day events.
Here a just a few tasters of what we can do…
Cycling & Mountain Biking
The Park is blessed with miles of gently undulating trails that are ideal for cycle exploring. Our team will take you down the lesser-known ones ensuring you will see another side of Rother Valley.
Following a skill level assessment, our experienced instructors will take you on a journey negotiating single tracks, short steep hill climbs, twisted downhill sections and narrow bridges.
Archery
This is a very popular activity with our corporate clients. We can arrange competitive competitions either individually or in teams. For example, our popular balloon bursting is tremendous fun as individuals compete to earn points for their team in a safe environment.
Orienteering
Divided into teams, one of our instructors will explain orienteering to your group. Next, they will learn how to use maps to negotiate routes around the Park. Teams will then be left to plan their routes under the instructor’s watchful eye, who will check on the groups’ progress and, more importantly, their results at the end of the session!
Water Activities
Located on the Main Lake, our Activity Centre offers; canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, paddle boarding and rafting.
We can offer a series of tailored sessions so that the individuals in your group can gain a qualification, e.g. one star and two star in canoeing or level 1 and level 2 in sailing.
