We’re proud to be hosting the inaugural Rother Valley Remembrance Day Trail Runs this November, bringing WILD trail running to the beautiful surroundings of RVCP. Set around our lakes and peaceful woodland paths, these scenic and undulating courses offer something for everyone. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply soaking up the autumn views, you’ll explore sections of the park that many visitors haven’t experienced before, moving away from the usual parkrun route and onto trails that showcase a different side of Rother Valley.
The event takes place on Sunday 8th November, with a two-minute silence observed at 11:00am before races begin at 11:02am. Runners can choose from a 5km trail run (open to ages 11+), a 10km trail run (open to ages 15+), or take on the brand-new Half Marathon distance for 2026. Route maps for the 5km and 10km will be available via the event page, with Half Marathon details to be confirmed.
Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North, ensuring accurate results and real-time updates throughout the event. All finishers will receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise such as socks, a buff or bottle, plus a post-race snack and drink to refuel. There is also the option to add a commemorative event T-shirt to your registration for £12.00. Please note that all participants must pay for parking using the on-site ticket machines. We look forward to welcoming runners of all abilities for a meaningful and memorable Remembrance Day on the trails at Rother Valley.
