Explore the Kids Play Areas at Rother Valley

Both of Rother Valley Country Park’s play areas were renovated in 2026, bringing exciting new equipment, fresh designs and even more opportunities for your kids to play, climb and run wild.

Northern Lake Play Area

Located at the northern end of the park, the Northern Lake Play Area features a range of play equipment suitable for different ages and abilities.

With toddler and older children’s swings, crawl-through tunnels, climbing frames, slides, merry-go-rounds and plenty of space to run free, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The Waterfront Play Area

The Waterfront Play Area features a shipwreck-themed play structure, inspiring young adventurers to climb aboard and let their imaginations set sail.

With plenty of outdoor seating nearby, it’s a fantastic place to sit back and watch your children play. Located next to The Waterfront Café, it’s also the perfect spot to stop for a drink, snack or ice cream during your day at the park.

Dogs are welcome throughout the park, but we kindly ask that they remain outside the fenced play areas.

With acres of open green space, lakeside walks, cycling routes and outdoor activities, there’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy during a visit to Rother Valley Country Park.
