Water Sports at Rother valley Country Park…
You can hire equipment from the Activity Centre to enjoy the facilities on the main lake at the park.
Our main lake is the focal point of RVCP and provides a hive of activity for water lovers as they take to the lake in, sailing boats, stand up paddle boards, canoes, pedal boats and rowing boats.
From the Water sports Centre you can hire various craft, register to launch your own equipment, book lessons, courses, educational visits, corporate team building events and birthday parties.

The Water Sports Centre is a recognised teaching establishment by both the Royal Yachting Association and the British Stand Up Paddleboarding Association and is authorised to run a full range of certificated courses.

We currently offer:
- Sit-on-top canoes
- Paddleboards
- Rowing boats
- Pedal boats
Age Restrictions: Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Buoyancy aids are compulsory for all water sports users and are included with the hire of all Centre craft. We do NOT rent our Centre Buoyancy aids for customers launching their own equipment so please ensure you bring your own.
Please note the Paddle Boards are not to be shared (1 board per person) and waist belt PFDs are not acceptable forms of buoyancy aid on our water.
