The infection rate in Rotherham remains very high at the present time. We ask that visitors to the park follow the guidelines of not mixing with other users of the park.

What time is the park open?
The Park is open from 8.30 am to 5 pm
What parking is available?
Parking is available and we are limiting the numbers of vehicles entering the park to ensure social distancing.
We advise arriving early to avoid the disappointment of being turned away if we have reached our capacity.
The last entry for vehicles is 4 pm.
You can only park on the hardstanding areas of the Watersports car park, main car park and the horse trailer / horse box / parking area.
There is no parking on the grass areas at the present time.
How do I pay for parking?
By card on entry to the park.
£5 / vehicle £4.00 after 2 pm
£2.50 for Blue Badge Holders
Are the toilets open?
The toilets are open between 8.30 am and 4 pm. They will be closed at 4 pm for cleaning.
Are the Watersports Activities Open?
The Watersports and Activity Centre will be closed between 5th November and 2nd December.
Sheffield Cable Waterski and Aqua Park will be closed between 5th November and 2nd December.
There is no Jet Skiing or Sailing Club activity during the lockdown period.
Can I cycle at the park?
You can cycle around the park on your own bike.

Can I have a BBQ or picnic in the park?
BBQ's are not allowed at the moment, you can bring a picnic
Can I ride my horse in the Park?
The guidance is that you can ride your horse to exercise, in the park we ask that you only walk your horse and do not gallop.
The government advice is that you can only travel a short distance to exercise. If you are bringing a horse box or trailer we advise you should arrive before 10.30 am as we have limited parking spaces.
This is to avoid having to be turned away on arrival to the park and congestion.
Is the Park Cafe Open?
The main park cafe is open for a take away service only, we ask that you wear a face mask or face covering when entering the cafe building.
Payment is by card only. Opening times 9.30 am to 4 pm daily
The Ice Cream Van contractor is coming into the park daily
Can I launch my Model Boat?
During the lockdown period model boat launches will not be permitted.
Play Area
The play area is open, some equipment is not available to ensure social distancing. Please wear suitable clothing for winter weather conditions and playing outdoors.
Miniature Train and Animal Farm
Unfortunately, at the present time these areas are not open.
Is the Dog Bakery open?
Ruby and Sophias Dog Bakery is open
10 am to 2 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
10 am to 4 pm Saturday and Sunday
The Mountain Bike Trails at Rother Valley Country Park are closed for a period of time from 17th January 2021, due to the current ground conditions
