Windsurfing is one of the most dynamic and exhilarating sports on the water.
Rother Valley offers a fantastic venue for windsurfing with the main Watersports lake covering 40 hectares and is 1 mile in length.
The Centre is equipped with a range of boards and sails that develops progression and ensures that all abilities and wind strengths are catered for.

The Windsurfing Equipment available at Rother Valley Watersports

 

		Mambo Windsurf The Hi-fly Mambo coupled with a 2.0m or 2.5m sail is the perfect way for kids to go windsurfing. Add a larger sail and this board is transformed and can be used by progressive windsurfers looking for faster times on the water.
		Starboard Rio The Rio is a new breed of board, wide and very stable this board is has transformed windsurfing. Gone are the days of spending most of your time swimming after your kit, now learning to windsurf is really achievable for everyone in a relatively short space of time.
		Starboard Go The name says it all, this board will make you want to Go windsurfing. Available in 2 sizes, 155ltr or 170ltr, the design of these boards allows for early planing and great top end speeds and will literally get you hooked into this adrenaline pumping sport! Tushingham sails available with these boards –7.5m, 6.5m or 5.5m.

Rigging advice will be given to customers unfamiliar with our or dinghies and windsurfing boards.
Certificates of proficiency are not required to hire any of the equipment however customers will need to demonstrate competence in order to take out our craft.
