Rother Valley offers a fantastic venue for sailing. The main Watersports Lake is over 40 hectares and is almost 1 mile in length. 

The Centre stocks the latest equipment for your use, a comprehensive range of craft supplied by Laser will ensure that every sailor from beginners to the experienced have all they need to have a great time on the water .

The Dinghies available at Rother Valley Watersports

 

		Laser Pico The laser Pico is a small sailing boat suited for 1 to 2 people. This boat’s robust and simplistic design makes it an ideal dinghy for both beginners and children wanting fun from their sailing.
		Laser Stratos This is the largest of the dinghies available for hire at Rother Valley, capable of holding up to 5 people this versatile boat is suited to family sailing.
		Laser Vago The Vago is a performance boat. This is a 2 person dinghy that is equipped with an asymmetric spinnaker and trapeze lines and is for the competent sailor.
		Laser Bahia The newest edition to our fleet, the Bahia is a true all rounder. This is a 2 to 3 person dinghy that is quited to the beginner and experienced sailor alike. It's cutting edge design enables sailors to progress on to asymmetric spinnakers and trapeze use and take their sailing to the next level.
		The Access Dinghy The design of the Access Dinghy is specific for the sailor with limited mobility. A heavy keel and accessible boat controls lends this dinghy to people with disabilities.
		Laser 1 The laser 1 is a classic, a single person boat whose sleek and sporty look lives up to it’s reputation of a lively and responsive dinghy. This is a boat for more experienced sailors looking for the thrills of sailing.

Rigging advice will be given to customers unfamiliar with our or dinghies and windsurfing boards.
Certificates of proficiency are not required to hire any of the equipment however customers will need to demonstrate competence in order to take out our craft.
