Activities

Rother Valley Country Park offers activities on land and water for all ages and abilities.

This section offers ideas of what you can do on the site including; cycling, walking, bringing your own BBQ, bird watching, fishing and model boating.


We will be adding information to this section as the park develops and offer more ideas of what to do when on a day out at the Park in the future.

The Education Team run a number of activities that are included in the What's on section and Junior Rangers for further information on this look at the Education sections of the web site.

Pony Parties
Rother Valley Country Park has given Rags to Rosettes permission to undertake Pony Parties at the Park.
The instructors are Insured, have Risk Assessments and Licenced.
These parties are ideal for children aged 4 years to 11 years.
 
Parties are priced from £130 / up to 15 children with one pony
£180 with two ponies
 
Parties can be themed - cowboys, pretty pony princess, knight in shinning armour

Add food to your party with our Breadgreave Mill Cafe and have food in the visitor centre upstairs from £3.50 / child
Children must be supervised at all times.

We are working with the web site Day out with the kids which is an easy to use website for finding places to visit with your family all over the UK. Searchable by age of kids, county, town, postcode and indoor or outdoor attraction.
