Junior Rangers is a club aimed at children between the ages of 9 – 14 who are interested in the environment, enjoy wildlife, like being outdoors and want to meet other like minded people. Our aim is for the children to build self confidence, learn the importance of teamwork whilst gaining a good understanding of the environment and countryside, as well as learning new skills.
Activities include wildlife watching, growing and collecting food, woodland activities, habitat creation and management, cycle rides and much more. To find out what we've been up to recently have a look at our
twitter feed
or
facebook page
(no need to register for either if you don't want to), we love posting photos and videos and there's usually something worth recording each time we meet.
Sessions run from 9.30 – 12.30 (term time we usually meet Saturday mornings, weekdays in school holidays) and cost £4 per child. Dates are listed
here
. All leaders are CRB checked to enhanced level and are also first aid trained.
You can email us on

or phone the office on 0114 2471452 and ask for Iain or Gareth.
